Frequently Asked Questions
Check-in to your cottage is available from 5pm on the day of your arrival. You can, of course, arrive earlier and make use of the facilities onsite until your cottage is available.
We ask that guests vacate their cottage by 10am on the day of departure but you are welcome to carry on using the facilities after check-out.
Keys can be collected from Reception during opening hours. If you’re going arrive after Reception is closed, please let us know and we will provide you with a key safe access code for our central keysafe under the Gunpowder Kitchen & Bar Balcony.
Absolutely! We love our furry guests. Up to 2 pets are allowed per cottage and there is a small charge of £17.50 for the 1st pet and £8.75 for the second. This price is discounted for owners as our usual charge is £35 per week, per pet). This is to cover extra cleaning after your stay and we also give all of our doggy visitors a holiday welcome pack.
Any electricity used by owners is chargeable and must be paid before you depart. Meters are read in the afternoon on the day prior to your arrival and will be read one day before you leave. If you intend to leave early please inform us the day before so the meter can be read the day before you departure.
Please note that our rental prices include electricity usage.
Yes, WiFi is available throughout the village free of charge. Details of the WiFi code is provided in your welcome pack.
No, the pool facilities are free for owners. There is a charge for swimming lessons if requested.
Mobile reception is relatively good throughout the village. Our free WiFi network also allows WiFi calling. If you have any problems, please call into Reception.
Don’t worry, there are options available to rent it out, swap it with another owner or bank it with an exchange partner.

Yes, ownership or membership will always be for the same week each year.
Absolutely! We can arrange an in person visit or a virtual walk around over zoom. Simply get in touch with Lucy and we’ll arrange a viewing.
We have a facebook group where guests can swap weeks for no charge.
